Biology was never meant to be studied in 2D.

One of the coolest things about my new work is being able to visualize:
🧠 Neural circuits
🩸 Vascular networks
🎯 Drug biodistribution
🎗️ Disease progression

Here's a small glimpse of what we're building at @deeppiction.bsky.social 🤩🔬

I can't categorize or summarize the next question. Bizarre mix of word salad. Worried about "biodistribution" of vaccines that "they don't stay in the arm". Yes, the immune system is not confined to the arm...🤦

The thing that drives me absolutely bizonkers about this is that I worked on preclinical toxicology studies of biodistribution/bioavailability of mRNA therapeutics back in 2012, and the main problem with them was they didn't stick in the body long enough to be good cancer drugs
In what proportions is our new NIH Director a flaming ignoramus vs. a brazen liar?

mRNA is transient. No DNA integration. Limited biodistribution. Massive safety data. If these fears were real, viral infections would be far worse. This isn’t dissent; it’s misinformation dressed as science. Credentials don’t replace evidence. Read the facts.

Not at all clear from your question to AI. You also don’t need AI to make that statement. The statement is also moot since regulators test pharmacokinetics of mRNA vaccines and both their persistence and biodistribution is comparable to other non-live vaccines. Do you think those tests aren’t done?

There must be a reason why a neuroscientist and a respiratory physician get together to say some things are not quite right in #LongCovid. Persistence of spike protein in the lungs and brain?

were tested. Can it be improved, sure. But WHAT?? You have control over how much antigen and the biodistribution? You are really unaware of all the literature? There is very little antigen around, you need very specialised methods to even detect it!

See evidence of harms in different systems??

Redwood chimes in to talk about the biodistribution of thimerosal, noting that clearance from the brain has the potential to accumulate.

Except this is not associated with neurotoxic effects, so this point is meaningless. Redwood also incorrectly states that ethylmercury has greater potential...
