on a flat rock a light brown, fat snake lies with head facing away from the camera and tail rolled into an @ symbol. To the right of the snake's head rests a much smaller painted turtle. The turtle is facing the snake (good idea) and his head is out of the shell. On top of the turtle's shell is a black lump-possibly a leech? nestled among dried brown leaves are two snakes mostly mottled brown with light yellow stripes running along their sides and the tops of their backs. Just to the left of the center of frame is one snake's head with brown eye looking to the left. To the center right is the other snake's head looking toward the camera.
