Gaulstown Dolmen is located in Butlerstown around 7km from #Waterford City. It is one of the most impressive examples in Ireland of a prehistoric portal tomb. It dates to around 3500 to 4000 BC & constructed of locally quarried volcanic rock. The tombs cap stone that is over 5 metres in length.

Thanks Donal O’Keeffe and the Irish Examiner for reporting this shocking incident of raw sewage contaminating a local river and water supply for five months.

To make things worse, the EPA confirmed they were only informed of the incident after the Irish Examiner asked Uisce Éireann for comment.

Hairy shield bug on a large green leaf. It facing up left. The bug is a rich purple color. The head is brown with a vertical light line running across the top. The antenna long and spread out in a V formation and alternate between black and white, with the black being thicker. The shield on its back is a brownish triangle with a lighter tip at the end. The outer edges of the bug under the wings alternate white and black like the antennae.
