Like it, but wow. They could have priced it at $200, but over $300? For a plastic case? The C64x is a bigger project (including custom keyboard!) and costs less.

According to the website, they are going to release a modern product for every retro product. Probably a new version of that C64x PC, I’d guess. I don’t think Cloanto is going to let go of the Amiga trademarks anytime soon. But we’ll see! :)

Another parcel arrived containing this #Commodore C64x mini-ITX case. Officially licensed by the UK ip-owner (not the phoney Italian guy).
It's a PC case in form of a Commodore #C64.
It might not be everyone's cupa tea, but in my book, this beats a "The C64" anytime.

As expected, the MiSTer/Jammix combination doesn't quite fit into the #Commodore #C64x mini-ITX case. It's the JP1 connector on the fan board that's the problem.
Unfortunately the fan board also serves as the main power source.
I'll have to get creative on this one.

They do also show a "C64X" which is just a mini-PC if you want to have a "C64" usable for more than just retro stuff.

The original C64X was an x86 Atom CPU. The new ones from My Retro Computer are configurable I think.

There was actually a guy who was going to do that but he unfortunately died in 2012
He did manage to make the Commodore C64x (official commodore hardware!) and release it back in 2010 though
So the PC Amiga could’ve happened
Don’t think it would be too hard to use a empty shell to make your own
