Marvel Rivals brainrot so bad that when we watched CA:WS we keep saying "ASSEMBLEEEEE" and "ARMED AND DANGEROUS" 😭

As an MCU Steve Rodgers fangirl and someone who tolerated the Falcon/WS series, this looks dope AF. Also it has Giancarlo Esposito looking so dangerous I love it. (CA:WS is my favorite MCU movie so this matches my energy)

Always loved CA:WS for its underlying message of “we can be our own worst enemy if those in power are paranoid enough”.

Finished WINTER SOLDIER and I’m on to GOTOG. I love this film, but I’m strongly feeling that this is the moment MCU effects take a significant downturn. IM 3 and CA:WS had some shaky bits, but this feels like the moment spectacle is prioritized over quality and believability.

agents of shield spent the front half of their first season being a set up for ca:ws and once that movie came out the show popped off like nothing i've seen before or since. you just couldn't do that with a 8-10 episode season
In the modern age of TV with shorter seasons and higher budget/production values, I miss the great lessons taught by network shows which would course-correct mid-run. There's such a lot to learn as a writer from watching, say, Parks & Rec, retool on the fly and suddenly become a lot better.

Name a film flop you wish had done better at the box office (I removed the incorrect quote marks😁):
THE MARVELS!
1. Best fight in a non-Avengers film since CA:WS.
2. A funny female buddy film where ALL the humor ACTUALLY lands!
3. Hands down funniest 2 sequences in ALL the MCU. Nick Fury redux & 👇

You say it right here. Burton's was dark AF. Dark, and grimdark, fit Batman tonally. Snyder gets heat because he applied that to all of DC. Superman in particular doesn't fit that mold. When the MCU gets it right its because it fits tone to character, ex. CA:WS being a spy thriller. Painting all of

I would still love to see a Maria Hill origin story. Hypercompetent. Casually ruthless. I'm there.

I am *very* intrigued - CA:WS is my fave as well. I love Mackie in this role and love Giancarlo Esposito in just about anything. And he makes the most out of a good villain role - he was a treat in the Mandalorian.

can't talk about ca:ws with anyone anymore without thinking about the group chat watching and losing it over the Iconic milk scene but the problem is no one else would know what the hell i'm talking about. why are you telling me about the amount of milk in a cup in this superhero flick.

okay between this and the bombastic bag man, we need more casual outfit heroes. Like cap wearing that blue sweater, or his incognito outfit from CA:WS. and that striped hoodie for Black Widow.

It interesting how some of the latest phase themes include nods to infinity phase tracks: here it's more overt with CA:WS notes (obviously), but the one I really didn't notice was how much of the Avengers March was used in TBolts: far more obvious now as its first bars launch with the Blu-Ray menu
