CBCT 6pm News, October 3, 1988 : 2635s
Here's a slice from the CBCT of Jake Paul's jaw. I don't treat injuries like this. But he's going to be dealing with this for years. Looking at nerve damage and TMD issues at minimum. Possibly loss of teeth. Lingering headaches, muscle issues, and problems that money can't fix.

The dentist office calling today: we looked at the scan. There's still an infection bag. We'll just remove the tooth

The clinic I went to to get a scan of my teeth made the terrible mistake of giving me the files and the program to see them, so now I'm just obsessively going over it to make sure the dentist doesn't just go "oh, it's all good :)" with a light glance lol

Had an amazing 3-D CBCT scan of my teeth today - in preparation for the second phase of an implant. I have the titanium bit now to have the new tooth made. The scans allow the dental lab to precisely make the new gnasher. No more squidgy paste (which I rather liked!).

Literalmente lo que tiene que hacer es avisar que la tiene pegada al nervio dentario inferior. Quien vaya a hacer la extracción se la agarra con papel de fumar ante la posibilidad de crear una parestesia. Generalmente mandan un CBCT para ver por dónde va el nervio y si es viable la extracción.

...Turns out the CBCT scan didn't show that the infection ate the bone, so now I have one less molar and a new, wholly unwanted hole connecting my mouth to my sinuses

Lost a tooth eating a pack of gummies, traveled to another city for an appointment only to learn their cbct machine is down so I’m gonna wait a week before I find out if it even can be rebuilt, stepped into a big pile of shit right after leaving the dentist’s office 🔫
