A hantavirus is up as the next COVID, TB has been walking around since 2024, and mumps out breaks cause no babies sometimes. There is a lead problem in Greeley, Colorado in 2026. People are slow because of lead and I am incompetent per Jaclyn Koch - CDHS Contractor.

Encourage people to come speak at the 5/18 council meeting! It’s confusing bc CDHS won’t meet next week so we’ll vote in committee of the whole at the next full meeting (if this changes I’ll let people know)

Colorado sent an email to all SNAP recipients yesterday urging them to use food pantries. CDHS was informed last week that pantries can't do more without more funds to buy more food. Food pantries are uniting to tell @coloradogovernor.bsky.social Polis to release emergency funds to food pantries.

Every member of the CDHS committee is in attendance today, including council member Michael Julian Bond, who recently returned from medical leave to introduce the TAD extension paper on Monday, May 18.
