#COVIDlit
I reviewed The Diapause for @theglobeandmail.com. It’s CovidLit, yes, but also veers into near future sci fi. Feels like Force Majeure meets Station Eleven, and some of the most vivid prose I’ve read in a while.
Review: In The Diapause, author Andrew Forbes delivers CovidLit with a deft hand
For anyone who does feel it’s too soon, I can reassure you that The Diapause – although an early specimen of CovidLit – mentions the virus, and the mass loss of life, sparingly

Couldn’t help myself. I had to finish this last night bugger the consequences for today. #NeverLookDesperate drew me in with the promise of the appearance of pineapple undies and then left me all emotionally discombobulated. #RachelMatthews

Has anyone got any #COVIDlit #reads they recommend?

.@CovidLit is a new online #litmag fighting COVID-19 by spreading art and philanthropy. "Rather than accepting submission fees, we require writers and artists to donate at least $3 to the nonprofit of their choice." https://www.covidlit.org/submissions HT @poetswritersinc

My blurting of thoughts on #RachelMatthews’ new book, #NeverLookDesperate, wouldn’t fit on Instagram so for the first time in over a year, #ThePloddingHistorian returned to her #Blog to share her thoughts on this #GoodRead. I’m into Aussie #COVIDlit at the mo. Recommendations appreciated. #BlogPost
