Setting my last experiment to run in the cryovac chamber today. I’ve spent so much of the last two years working on these I can’t say how glad I am to be done. I got most of the results I wanted, despite the many weeks fighting against the equipment and the management to get them done.

Tonight, I fill the freezer with schnitzel because I can’t think what else to do with it.
I have learned how to carefully cut the tenderloin so I “unroll” it into a giant 1/2” - 1/3” thick steak. Now I cut it into 8, and pound them to 1/4”. $8.50 of tenderloin on sale, 8 schnitzels. 🍜🍽️

It's a great time of the year to freeze fresh Cdn corn, I just shave it off the husks and use my Cryovac which I purchased 2 years ago, could see this coming (so many uses, pays for itself). Best investment ever, and I bought my daughter one for x-mas.

I don’t really feel ready to be back doing normal work, but here I am dragging myself to JPL the moment we’re let back in to tend to the cryovac chamber. My deadline to use it was heavily negotiated with factors on both sides so I don’t know that I’ll get an extension despite closures from the fire.
