This thread outlines Carney’s cuts to science research.

Yet again, he has deceived the Canadian public while he destroys what we value as Canadians.

He is a master at political deception. Scary stuff.

Hail King Carney! Our hero!

I was just writing about this. Here is a summary of my notes.

Mark Carney is seriously putting Canadian Science Research at extreme risk, will weaken Canada's standing in the global scientific community & shut down university grad programs, federal labs & put Canadians at dire risk.

I'll never not freak out over the killing of a 12 year old child.

But I have a feeling I'm going to want a form of justice that Canada does not have in regard to this case.

I hope I'm wrong, but I am pretty confident that this is a hate crime egged on by Smith and Co.

Yep yep this. I'm not celebrating over here. Sure, we've postponed (another) separatist referendum bid (they're not going to give up, because the people funding them and pulling their strings are not), but. *Confirmation* that Alberta is mostly bigot by volume? Not fun.
I’m having a hard time understanding all the celebration around the Alberta vote. Sure, they rejected separation, but that was never the point of the referendum. The government was seeking permission to institute racist policies… and they got it!
