7/7 Why did I test my battery? Since I work in construction I was sceptical of the self reporting of the industry (...). I did test the battery from time to time via a cheap OBD bluetooth dongle and the carscanner app, which shows 96.6% (I believe this is fetched from the BMS) vs 97% from Aviloo.

Cheap OBD II bluetooth reader and CarScanner App, find out online what the net unusable is for the battery and then charge to 100% and plug in and compare.
There are 'more accurate' ways to do it but this is the most convenient.

You'll need an OBD II reader (bluetooth is most convenient) and the CarScanner App. You can pull up Remaining Energy and compare it to what it was a new. This isn't as accurate as going to 0 and measuring what a charger puts back in, but is a good estimate.

One useful piece of information that the article provides is a link to a tutorial for using an ODB II scanner. I already have the scanner and the software app that I used for my ICE vehicle, but the cost is reasonable.
