This morning at Oak Grove and Hennepin, a driver swerved around cars stopped at the red light, then sped through. A cyclist in front of me braked hard and went over their handlebars. I stopped to help, along with others, including @brianmitchl.com. The cyclist was shaken and had road rash.

This morning I activated the overhead lights of a crosswalk & started crossing with my two young kids.
Two cars waiting at stop signs to cross the same road took the opportunity to proceed.
A Tesla driver then blew through the crosswalk, oblivious to us, almost hitting us AND both cars. 🙃

Driving *shouldn’t* be the most convenient method of travel in a city. It should be a method of necessity. And we absolutely shouldn’t prioritize car convenience over people’s safety, their lives.
