Same. Exactly the same. I'm a #Vancity born & raised. But to provide a home, raise a family I had to go outside Van. Commute to work. Could have paid 75% outside my income. But our choice was to not do that. Had friends did pay & struggled. Then lost. It's choice. #cdnoli
So back in the day I couldn’t afford a house in the city so made a decision to move to a place I could afford. It didn’t have the night life and glitz but I could afford it. And I didn’t scream and yell at the government. It’s called choice
