Join Lou Peck at #CharlestonInBetween this week. Don’t miss the chance to catch her insights while she is on a panel this Friday.
Meanwhile, we’re pretty sure her mini zoo at home is missing her already. But the real question is: where has her peacock gone?

Myth 1: CHORUS is US-centric. ❌
Myth 2: CHORUS only tracks APC data. ❌
Fact: We track metadata & focus on data integrity, retractions & policy auditing, not financial processing. Our global multi-stakeholder community co-creates open research infrastructure.

And i would add: library funding. Presented at #charlestoninbetween today that this is a result of policy decisions driving collection spending at Artes. Since we have revised spending priorities and budgets are not limitless, what we will cut is spending with for profit publishers.
