The evangelical bent is true American religion, though I can't by any measure call it "Christanity" except the kind of Christanity that is acceptable for small children:

Let's be clear they are trying to rewrite Christanity in a Trump image. This is not Christian. Not what Jesus would do.

The Pope even stated that what the US leadership is doing in terms of illegal deportations is not OK. Anyone supporting this really needs to stop using their "Christanity" as a shield.

Kirk's "religious message" wasn't even evangelizing or spreading Christianity, it was convincing Christians who thought conservative beliefs blatantly contradict Christanity that conservatism IS compatible with Christianity
People seem determined to remember Charlie Kirk as a devout Christian. This includes mainstream and liberal descriptions of him and not just MAGA hagiography.

Judaism and Christianity are VERY different, and Christanity and Islam are estranged siblings. Just say Abrahamic.
