Oh yes, I can imagine! I love to see my favorite movies having a re-run in a cinema; it's a completely different experience.

Last night I watched a pre-viewing of HR Pao’s “The 80’s: A Motion Picture Special”, a Docu-Musical film since supporting the final Kickstarter campaign and truth be told, it’s amazing. I laughed and I cried, sadly and happily. Please support this film.🎥 ❤️

Thanks for this. It’s my local indie cinema, I’ve had life-changing experiences in that little theater! I won’t be setting foot inside until this is resolved. My membership expired this month, it was so sad and strange not renew.

Filmar e fotografar a tela do cinema não apenas atrapalha a sessão. Também é contra a lei.

We managed 8 rides and the 4D cinema experience today. Mercifully Thorpe is over a short space so you can change plans easily and we got everything we wanted done. And shopped at the end. Now back to London!

For my first story for @indiewire.com, I looked into the monthlong controversy at the Cinema Arts Centre, the historic Long Island indie movie theater that's spiraled into a crisis after the board of directors fired its beloved co-manager, Dylan Skolnick, for "serious misconduct."

I've scraped all the barrels and I don't know where else to look for undiscovered slasher gems, so this year I'm doing Slasher Search all request. First up is OGROFF, a 1983 Super 8 fever dream written, directed and starring French video shop owner Norbert Moutier. Look at his creepy mask!

Night City is heading to Hollywood. Paramount is developing a live action Cyberpunk 2077 film with CD Projekt RED after the game surpassed 40 million copies sold.

No director. No cast. No release date. But one of gaming’s biggest dystopian worlds is coming to cinema.

We saw the new Resident Evil at the cinema tonight and ohhhhhhh I did NOT like it. Cinematically it is fantastic and a very interesting take on RE.

Unfortunately, it is the *exact* brand of horror that falls into the "legitimately terrifying" for me rather than "oooh, this is an enjoyable exp"

We’ll have multiple pieces each week for the rest of October thanks to #lff #londonfilmfestival & #horroctober (h/t @princecharlescinema.com), with one film that qualifies for both.

£1.00 a month for most of this stuff, with a free tier for a taste of it. #filmsky

Published today: Martine Bellen’s marvelous poem “Too Many Ghosts”! Bones, ghosts, frogs, fossils, vessels, deep-sea creatures: the poem’s extraordinary imagery keeps metamorphosing into a fluid anatomy of grief, memory, and the self.
