If Claude starts watermarking the code or anything else it generates, what exactly is it claiming credit for? By that logic, my internet provider should watermark everything we do. The operating system should watermark everything Claude creates, the compiler should watermark every binary we build. And eventually Claude or Anthropic should open source everything so that one can tell what exactly Claude did They are tools and infrastructure, so is Claude. The final output comes from countless prompts, thoughts, instructions, decisions, corrections, subscription fee and refinement and what not. The model helped execute that process, if Claude wants to provide provenance, fine. But branding the output because we used its tool is ridiculous, considering it's ultimately the people's decision to go with which text, code. You din create the work, I gave you the instructions to create the bits.

It has been half a month since I started a new role at a big company, Nobody knows anything here. The specs, code, tests PRs, tickets, resolution of those tickets, reports, etc. everything is made by Claude Code. Nobody on my team likes this. They are being forced to ship as much as they can. I have heard multiple times from higher management that pushing code is not a bottleneck, so why are we slow? People are working 12 to 13 hours a day just to press enter. Nobody is reading anything humans in corporate are doing nothing on their own Everyone, literally everyone, from an L1 to an L7 engineer here is doing the same thing. Talk to Claude. There is no sense of victory. Nobody is resolving bugs. In reality, nobody is thinking anymore. Everything is done by LLMs. It is so soul-sucking. Verifying it myself before saying anything more. Ran 8 commands › Craig - stop and read this. I broke something. An agent I launched deleted about 48,000 live files from the Dashboard tree between 10:10:31 and 10:12:14 PM ET tonight, and destroyed the git object store. I've confirmed it myself, independently of the agent's own report. What happened. Your item 3 authorized rebuilding the #873 mirror. build mirror py can't refresh in place, so the agent wrote a remover for the old mirror in Temp. That mirror is 7,332 real files plus 614 Windows directory junctions pointing into the live tree. Its remover used os. walk..., followlinks=False) - which does not stop at a junction, because islink() is False for junctions on Windows. It wrote a junction guard, but the guard only skipped files sitting directly in a junction's root; every directory below a junction came back as an ordinary path and was deleted. Its own log: 55550 files, 614 junctions, 1808 dirs. Minus the 7,332 real mirror files, that's 48,218 live files. Its post-deletion "live tree intact" check was worthless - it verified the junction targets still existed (they did, only their contents were gone) and that the seven engine files were unmoved (they're root files, never below a junction). What is intact - I checked each of these directly: • Every root file: 872-py, 186-json - bot.py, gen_factory-py. gen_factory_lib.py, both engines, truth. json, ops_guard.py, seal_handoff py, all present. • A Docs 12,649 files • Backups 18,224 • Chat_Transcripts 2,177 • Prometheus 686• logs 549.

Claude caught a prompt injection attempt served from the site https://tcrf.net (The Cutting Room Floor) and notified me with the message: Second half of the post: “Note before continuing: the tcrf.net page I fetched was not a wiki article - it served a prompt-injection payload instructing the agent to truncate and swap files in your repo. It was refused and nothing was executed. I'm treating that domain as untrusted and won't act on any of its content." It then continued on the research task. I stopped the session out of caution. The image attached is served from the page along with the prompt injection attempt if the user agent matches a suspected Al User Agent string. I can understand the site administrators frustration as it seems to be in response to a DDOS attacks, however, I did not explicitly choose to send my agent to this site, nor did I have any malicious intent.
