there is a very distinct underlying. thing. when someone in an anime or cnovel or manhwa or etc. fandom is like "here's my realistic take on this character!" and it immediately becomes clear the artist used a white model as reference.

i am sure i will miss out on beautiful art this way but the thing is that it is 2025 and if you're going to be in a cnovel fandom you do need to, at some point, figure out how chinese names are spelled

Love 2 discover the cnovel I'm currently losing it about in poor Ginny's DMs is part of a shared universe of cnovels with titles like "Beloved Enemy" and "In Love With An Idiot." I'm thriving. I hope they're all as unhinged as this and the other ones also get Thai BL adaptations. I deserve this.
