The united Megrelian, Rachvelian and Kartlelian (Kartli origin) march will now pass the Khorumi martial dance march and they'll proceed to the main Rustaveli rally. Today, on day 24, there have been at least 22 different marches.

“This stunning necklace was discovered at a site known as Vani, which is located in Georgia (the country, not the state). Ancient Vani once served as the religious and administrative center for the Kingdom of Colchis; as I've previously discussed, Colchis was also known as the homeland of the fabled Golden Fleece, and the Colchians themselves were famous for their skills in goldsmithing. The turtle pendants on this necklace are all decorated with ornate filigree and granulation patterns. The eyes of the 30 smaller turtles were originally made with glass inlay, while the eyes of the largest turtle (seen in the center) were made from drops of gold.” “This necklace is unique because of the zoomorphic depiction that it presents. Another cool tidbit from the book Proto: In the Balkans, pre-historical people panned for gold using sheep fleeces. Perhaps a cultural memory behind Jason's quest through the Black Sea for the Golden Fleece? Very apt, as we head into PJOTV season two, Sea of Monsters.
