I guess today's #birdoftheday is #everydaybirds or #commonbirds? Not sure how or where the bird of the day theme originates... But I'll share my favorite common bird: The American Robin!

They're supposedly harbingers of spring but they often stay put year-round, forming huge flocks in the winter.

#birdoftheday is another one of the #commonbirds of Marrakech, although perhaps needing a little more vegetation around than House Bunting. Common Bulbul here in the North of Africa lack the yellow undertail of southern populations.

#commonbirds don't get much more common than this. Some Feral Pigeons revert to a form very close to the wild Rock Dove ancestors. Pretty, but you really do see them everywhere right across the world. This one was in the Jardin Secret in Marrakech #Morocco
