#Communicable
I'm sorry but corruption isn't a communicable disease. Every individual and institution owns their own corruption. Trump doesn't cause it, although his influence certainly has exposed how easily corruptible a vast number of people are.
The corruption of the career military is one of the most damaging and potentially dangerous legacies of the Trump/Hegseth era.
Yikes. In a desperate-sounding video, CENTCOM Commander Adm. Brad Cooper insists the Strait of Hormuz is “controlled by the United States… not Iran” and “open for business,” despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

This guy also thinks vaccines are bad because it would be preferable to live in a world without communicable diseases.

Vaccines are a medical intervention. They only occur when someone is in a position they would rather not be in (an environment with communicable diseases that can cause injury or death). They are, almost definitionally, bad.

Criminal Transmission of an Infectious Disease: Many jurisdictions have specific statutes that explicitly criminalize the intentional, knowing, or reckless exposure of another person to communicable diseases.

My mom used to tell me how her and her sisters had to stay home when polio came to town. Polio apparently has a season? Measles remains one of the most communicable diseases around, and the vaccine is safe and effective. No need for kids to suffer even the itch (much less the possibility of worse)

As a permanently immune impaired person, I support this idea. Your job as a health-care worker is to help me get and stay well (as well as I can muster), not to make me sicker, not to expose me unnecessarily to communicable diseases. If you're too politically deluded to think masks are political, 👎.

He has brought communicable diseases back into our lives following us forgetting about them. He and Trump and musk are wrecking balls with too much power 😵‍💫🙃

How to say I know nothing about communicable diseases without saying I know nothing...

It's unkind to wish harm on others but everyone in power who says, "this easily preventable communicable disease is no big deal" needs to experience the worst outcomes from that easily preventable communicable disease because they are incapable of learning without personal experience.
Ignoring the fact that there have been several measles deaths this year, it's incredible that these anti-science chuds think there are two disease states: Dead or having no symptoms.

You can survive measles and still suffer serious and long-lasting health consequences!
Minnesota Republican state Sen. Bill Lieske: "Back in the day when the measles vaccine didn't exist, measles was a joke! ... yes, there are increases cases. How many of those are actually resulting in deaths? Are they just going home with the sniffles? Back in the day, people had measles parties."

I've only been sick with a communicable thing once, I think, in the last decade or so. Knock wood.

Allergies a couple times.

They don’t name diners like they used to, what with all the fuss these days about communicable diseases and sanitation.

those guys and the NYT Editorial staff all belong to the same social circle and their kids all go to the same private school.

Same folks that were practicing social distancing when they believed having an hourly wage was a communicable disease.

Likely a gross underestimate, as is almost always the case. People may not know, or report suspected cases. If they resolve without medical intervention, it’s not counted. Like all the cases reportedly occurring in ice detention facilities. along with tb and other communicable diseases.

Look at this old fella!

At least I think those eyes are a sign of age. The only cockies I have ever met with these eyes were captive and old.

(If you know for a fact that this is a sign of disease let me know. Especially if it's a communicable one that I need to disinfect, etc. for.)

I fucking can't with #MrRobot. I've never felt more uneasy with any tv show or movie before. It's like a descent into madness. I think it's even more unsettling because it starts as one person's madness, but it's spreading just like a fucking disease. Madness as a communicable disease. Too real...

More than just immunization, a person can acquire a communicable disease for which there is no immunization possible but treatment is, but untreated they become spreaders.
They made a movie about this- "Panic in the Streets"
Historically, one case comes to mind- Typhoid Mary.
