#CoreWorlds
Many livable worlds under Alliance and Consortium control thrive ecologically. Bar some coreworlds that are entirely built over most are colonies with 1-3 big cities and the rest of infrastructure in orbit. Some abandoned megastructures become sort of reefs for nature sometimes even. #Cartaugust
Okay #CartAugust crew, let's talk rampant nature. Where are resources plentiful, so life can go ham? Forests are often the most plentiful biomes, but if that's not the case for your world, hit me with an alternative!

Hopefully among the Alliance coreworlds. I'd get a place to live in post-scarcity abundance. While I do like the Freedom at the outer rim, I could still opt to go there later, but having a home deep in the Alliance is probably the blissful safety I wish for in that place.
#AugustWorldbuilders I used to ask IF you would like to go to your fantasy world, would you? But for this one, we're pretending that it's inevitable. For whatever reason, you are transported to your world and MUST live there. So, where do you make your home?

Vela would go back and move away from her home world earlier. To the coreworlds perhaps. That way she would maybe never distrust the Alliance as much. And integrate more, never joining the expedtion in the first place.

Time travel day!

Your character can go back to one moment that happened in their backstory and change their actions/choices.

When are they going and how would that affect the story going forward?

You could classify the RAD zone and the galactic core Hinterland. For the fact that navigating there with contemporary hyperdrives is very hard. So little traffic goes there. Despite the Coreworlds being near it is underdeveloped and still full of ancient ruins. #CartAugust

I don't know what card combo I need to use to address this furry threat. #coreworlds #boardgames #catdadproblems

Like the thing is Tau (and therefore Kroot) are in the eastern edges of the galactic map and the Mobian sector is just north of the coreworlds. It's kinda silly to suggest the xenos ships basically fly past Terra to get on scene?

Hey everyone,

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the development of CoreWorlds has officially kicked off! This has been a long time coming, and the energy on the team right now is unmatched.

We can't wait to show you the final project in September!

This is part of a solid 5 page trauma dump from Vela's perspective about an event in the past. That I'll have to dilute to different parts of the story still. #WIPSnips #WriteSky

For most factions the center of power is on their homeplanet. Euphonia for the Consortium, HQ for Mononobe, Nihydron Prime. The tradeworlds are their own centers plus 1-2. The Alliance has the de-facto colonial capital Overton. But their true center remains hidden. There are coreworlds, but no HQ.

after i crush the resistance that is the federation i will grasp Interiority from their coreworlds and with the fall of the empire i will swipe Context that had otherwise been bound and hidden. and then? i'll be so good at playing dolls.

i bet there's also currency on the frontier-worlds, and I bet there's a lot of people who live there instead of in the coreworlds because it's Where There's Currency And People Care About It

we just... never SEE the coreworlds or frontier worlds very much

Especially after he reconnects with Zahndrekh. I could imagine having any point of contact with the rest of the empire might be very nerve wracking. The last thing they need is the Stormlord believing he’s purposefully sending flayers to try & infect sautekh coreworlds. *but*. At the same time

Yeah but only a few of those star systems are significant. You get the Federation coreworlds but you don't get e.g. Deneva (Kappa Fornacis, 74 ly) or Risa (Epsilon Ceti, 79 ly)

this is basically where I wind up - the coreworlds of the Federation are a ridiculous post-scarcity utopia that banks in social prestige and access (university admission drama: definitely still a thing) and Starfleetis specifically where all their most deeply weird nerds go to find purpose

#StarWars #galaxy #map: because even in a galaxy far, far away, someone had to make a #chart. #CoreWorlds, #OuterRim, and that one #planet with sand (again). #Politics? Messy. But the map? Beautiful #nerd #cartography at #hyperspeed.

#StarWars scenario hook #36 - Coreworlds Cop

"From the Core Worlds, relentlessly closing in on a 'dangerous criminal', is an officer of the Torisa Kadash CID. They may be a fish out of water in the Outer Rim Territories, but they won’t let that stop them from tracking down their quarry

Doesn't help that there was a sense in all three sequel films that most of this stuff seemed to be happening in the remotest parts of the Galaxy, far away from major population centers part. Why the hell was the capital moved to a system just outside the Coreworlds? They rotate capitals, da fuck?
