This is Japanese milk bread, and I think it’s my favorite bread recipe so far!
You cook a little flour, milk, and water on the stove. That makes it soft and fluffy. It tastes more like rolls to me.
My kids are fans!

Mitered square dishcloth in two threads variegated big box cotton held together. I’ll end with a 5-strand icord hanging loop. I always cable cast on 25x2 +3. I keep these in a gallon ziplock for waiting room knitting.

Deets in alt. It was supposed to be spotted in peach, but it sorta turned out tweedy. I usually make a set of four coordinating coasters. I don’t think I’ve made two squares alike yet.

Two sock toes — wet finished, even!!! In Woolens and Nosh hand dyed self-striping and tonal. Two socks started in Patton’s Kroy sock yarn. Round toe, toe-up, Magic cast on 12/needle, inc to 60 total, size 0 Chiaogoo on the two longer mini cords, padded bottom, 5/1 rib on top. I’d like to figure out how to start the pattern/padding in the toes. Suggestions? Background is a tortilla blanket.

Snickerdoodle Cheesecake Bars!
This is the second time I’ve made these and they turned out great both times. As with any cheesecake, I let the cream cheese, sour cream & eggs come to room temp so they blend smoothly.

Continuing my bookbinding adventures, hand sewing my signatures together. I'm using a curved upholstery needle. It can be found in the African haircare section for weaves. It's cheap and easy to find. Keep bookbinding accessible!
