When I took office, Illinois’ finances were a mess and our credit rating was headed toward bankruptcy.

Now, we’ve earned twelve credit upgrades, passed eight balanced budgets, and strengthened reserves — saving taxpayers money and giving us a strong foundation for the future.

i've been working so hard on rebuilding my credit after ruining it when i first transitioned. i'm now only 8 points away from equaling my pre-transition credit score record high.

Unexpected, but credit where credit is due. NEWSMAX correspondent Shelby Wilder says Russia is using the humanitarian operation in occupied Oleshky for propaganda while tightly controlling what journalists can see. She warned that access is restricted and residents are under pressure. #Ukraine

Don't listen to takes on finance from anyone that thinks a high junk credit rating is "the corporate equivalent of a poor credit score" because that person obviously doesn't know what they're talking about.
Imagine planning a $1.5T IPO but having the corporate equivalent of a poor credit score. That’s Anthropic.

Blackstone previously expected Anthropic to earn an investment-grade credit rating before 2027. Now it expects a junk rating even after the IPO.

Yes, credit where due. But also credit work done by sustained criticism coming from outside the newsroom. They hear you. When you have something that should be in their newspaper, and you demand it— that registers. You never get "readers, you were right." They wait and do it their way. But you won.

Why are you denying the media the credit they deserve?
The way this stupid website has polarized people against the media is disturbing.
Increasingly realizing I might need to be the one to write a grand “the press are all evil” piece because it’s been a decade of this and it’s still an uphill battle to convince normies that owners, editors, and many journalists are against us.

Peter has done a few of these to his credit , perhaps the only legacy media reporter willing to go there
