That's... pretty silly. To use a football analogy, who would you rather draft: in his prime Dan Marino (one of the best all-time quarterbacks who never got a ring) or Trent Dilfer (a mediocre quarterback who got a ring because of circumstance - namely being a game manager on a high D team).

IDK man, I feel like we can't call Skyrim a great game if the ideal version of it requires a 200-entry modstack which itself requires four separate independently-coded tools and a jailbroken executable to boot, and every 5 years the studio releases a new version that makes all of those things break
