Datacentres are a menace. Don’t approve them. We can cope without AI generated slop.

YOU can keep data-centers out of your city!

Carbon emissions from just two planned datacentres in England will exceed all of ExxonMobil’s UK fossil fuel emissions.

Bad for health, environment.

Huge pressure on energy/water supplies

Few long-term jobs generated

Local people, not ministers, must decide if they want datacentres.
Two planned datacentres will have higher UK carbon emissions than ExxonMobil, analysis finds
Exclusive: Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire sites predicted to emit 4.5m tonnes a year when fully running

Need less capex spend?

Try centralising in giant monopoly datacentres

No backup, no failover

Just giant monopoly datacentres
Huge AWS bills too

You will certainly not regret giant monopoly datacentres

Google developers significantly misstate carbon emissions of proposed UK datacentres.

Just 3 will generate emissions
equivalent to those of a city such as Bristol.

Impact on humans and living things?

Datacentres consume excessive amount of water/electricity, generate few permanent jobs.

I don't know if anyone cares, but Victoria's proposed rules do not "force datacentres to use renewable energy", and falsely stating that they do is actively helping the data centre industry do the pretend-fainting shock performance they're doing to try and kill even the weakest of regulations

Right now the government is putting our communities, our water security and our climate ambitions second to the demands of tech giants.

It's time to slam the brakes on water-guzzling, energy hungry datacentres.

Well, colour me boiling hot but I'd have said 'catastrophic' not 'remarkable'.

"The data heat island effect could have a remarkable influence on communities & regional welfare in the future.”

"In certain cases, nearby temps increased 9°C, or 16.4°F."
