For the 35th anniversary of ARMAGEDDON 2001, I interviewed writer/artist Dan Jurgens about the crossover and writing SUPERMAN ANNUAL 3.
We talk about writing "What Ifs", deciding Superman's future, the Evil Superman trope, and Superman vs Batman!

Superman writer/artist Dan Jurgens looks back on ARMAGEDDON 2001 35 years later
In comic book circles, Dan Jurgens needs no introduction. It's inevitable the first line of his obituary will be "the man who killed Superma...

This is the kind of #comics I wanna read. Keeping opening that #DCVault, @dc.com. It just needs different numbering. Not #1-4. #88.89-91.89?

NYCC '25: DC Comics to complete Rick Veitch's scuttled run with SWAMP THING 1989
In 1988, Rick Veitch left Swamp Thing after DC decided not to publish a controversial story, but now he will finish with Swamp Thing 1989.

Since #GreenLanternCorps Quarterly ended because of #EmeraldTwilight, which was a late pivot in direction, I wonder if the #DCVault has any GLCQ stories sitting in it.

I very much appreciate the question on whether the original ending was fully drawn. I would 100% buy a fauxsimile edition of ARMAGEDDON 2001 #2 with the originally intended ending (and any follow up stories). Open the #DCVault!

I was too young in '89 to be reading #SwampThing, so missed the controversy. This was a well crafted story and I'm glad it's finally been released. @dc.com should be publishing more projects like this from the #DCVault.
