The DKC/DKL games are have an excellent difficulty curve overall, but every once in a while they bring in little things that remind you that these were the folks that made Battletoads

Whenever I sit down to play through the DKC trilogy, I think 3 will be my favorite only because your Kiddy Kong posting has warped my perception of reality

I have two thoughts about DKC Tropical Freeze
Playing it on a Switch Pro Controller is way better than doing it on the Wii U Gamepad
The Fugu fight still sucks

I still firmly believe that Donkey Kong from DKC is supposed to be Cranky Kong's grandson Donkey Kong III. No, I don't know what happened to DK Jr. Maybe he became a famous math guy and travels the globe giving lectures.

DKC X Mario - a ROM hack by RainbowSprinklez - lets you play Donkey Kong Country as the SNES version of Mario. It all feels very natural and well done. Although Mario and Yoshi are a bit OP, but that feels pretty good :-)

I like the art and world and design of DKC but the pre rendering just doesn't do anything for me

I was too tired to stream yesterday, so we're starting the new shuffler today.
Featuring fun and cool games I've abbreviated for the sake of the character limit like: DKC, MMV, PTC, SH, SMW, and... U.
It's all so clear and easy to understand.
Come hang out at twitch.tv/marxochist around 6:20 ET

Wanted to take a crack at this old Twitter meme!
I know a lot of older DKC fans don't like the Tiki Tak Tribe because they "replaced" the Kremlings. But honestly, I think the problem isn't that they replaced the Kremlings but it's because they lack motivation as villains.

"Aquatic Ambience" was one of David Wise's best compositions for any of the Rare DKC games. Every lover of platformers knows that water levels are often nerve-racking, so why not give one some chill muzak?
