So i got my MMR and dTap-IPV shots today. It was free and fast even here in Alberta. Since I am old and I thought I didn’t get any vaccinations as a child they just fixed me up with the dTap on my word.

The capitalization of the letters in diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis vaccines indicate which components are full dose. For DTaP, all three components are full dose. For Tdap, only tetanus is full dose.

I live in Michigan, and when I heard this news, I made an appointment for a DTAP shot. DTAP stands for Diptheria, Tetanus, and Percussis, also known as Whooping Cough. If you are on Medicare as I am, they will pay for it. Get your vaccinations while you still can! 🌷

I am also fully in support of widespread free vaccines, especially DTaP, MMR, RSV, IPV, HepB, and HPV, and also just straight up banning children from school until they're administered. If there's issues about access, we can pay people to administer at the home even because it's worth it.

It’s very important for all adults to get the DTaP vaccine. Babies receive this vaccine beginning at two months at intervals over several months before they are fully vaccinated. Adult DTaP is protects babies and very young children. It’s public health. It’s caring about people other than ourselves.
