PRODIGAL HUMAN Page 46 …which caused us to block all that out. We are born with a tabula rasa, a mental blank slate, because we have repressed out of our consciousness (we have created an unconscious) all that we are and could be if we had not suppressed, re- pressed, and forgotten who we are. So that, d) Onto this blank slate we pour all the necessary learnings we need to survive; we do this through a process of parenting. However, unlike the mind sharing of other planetmates, we are only going to get any learnings we do as funneled through an even more narrowed consciousness, one even more split from Divinity or the mind we share in common with the Universe. And that more narrowed consciousness is that of our caregivers, one’s parents, usually. Thus, e) Culture — which is the accumulated, infinitely varied, and unavoidably flawed understandings of how to behave and survive in the world, developed over time, and different in every society — steps in where mind sharing ... what we disrespectfully call instinct ... should be.

It pops up frequently, as well, in the paranoid delusions of both psychotics and neurotics as a fear of someone having poisoned their food. This prenatal experience is the reason that particular fear of poisoning — of all the things possible of which one could conceivably be afraid — shows up so much and is associated so frequently with paranoid delusions. Just look, within right-wing and conspiracy theories, to the pervasiveness of the idea of being poisoned, intentionally — through inoculations and vaccines, by fluoride in water, and so on. While it is an ongoing struggle to keep our food, water, and air free from the pollutants that corporations, cutting corners for profit, are wont to impose on us; still, this realistic threat is amplified and expanded to much else which is innocent or helpful, due to this underlying trauma of being force-fed toxins prior to birth. We are forever afraid, subconsciously, of having poisons “shoved down our throats,” as the saying goes. For there was a time when we experienced the flow of blood and its nutrients, increasingly over the last three months, to be tainted and impure. It was insufficient in oxygen, as mentioned for PME 2, yet there was also a backlog of toxins from the byproducts of food conversion not being removed adequately.

Similarly, we are not very much removed from identity with the universal creative principle itself — God or Divinity — which is the decider and initiator ... the true doer and actor in everything we do ... including in our forgetting and our corruptions from our primal Divinity. You heard me correctly. Now, there is something fruitful to ponder. (next book Regardless, at this time we are not cut off from deep awareness of our biological processes and intents, its experience, its movements and changes right down to the very cells that are multiplying. “People have stated in regression that they can feel the multiplication of cells; others describe the growth of the embryo in great detail.” 3 That is the way one pre- and perinatal psychologist put it. I’m trying to think of how to explain that feeling and what comes to my mind is the feeling of accomplishment and success folks into fitness or body-building feel as they continue thriving, reaching and surpassing their goals. They feel almost superhumanly confident that they can achieve anything in that respect, through their own actions, and that there is virtually no end or limit to what they are becoming. This experience as a growing, cell-multiplying blastosphere and embryo is something like that. This is one of our first, if not the first, experiences of euphoria.

This “vegetable” eruption always happens suddenly and climactically, and almost always it results in death. Scenes like this I have observed in the movie “Jacob’s Ladder,” several times on the hit show The X Files, and in many, many other shows. Gag Me With a Toxin. This version of suffocation probably has its roots in the force- feeding of toxic elements to the fetus in the womb through the umbilical cord, and is more definitely related — the symbol is probably an amalgamation of both feelings — to the ungentle clearing of fluids from the neonate’s mouth by the attendants immediately after birth. This latter connection — the ungentle mouth cleaning of birth fluids — I can personally validate through my own primal experiences. Apparently I was not alone in being treated this way as a newborn in the 1940s and 1950s in America ... hence its popularity. APOCALYPSE – NO! Page 25

“WE AIN’T BORN TYPICAL” Page 53 …sanctioning as it does the status quo, requiring no change (but allowing for no improvement, either), that is repeated endlessly. Put another way, Winnicott is touted as an important figure in the history of child development because he went along with what parents and professionals wanted to believe about child-rearing/parenting (including their own of both) and did not make waves. Since this book asserts that we need radical changes in prenatal, birth, and child-caring/parenting to bring about the access to the deeper human nature required for the survival of Earth’s life, his concession is important and represents a stumbling block, to the extent that it is still bandied about by child development professionals. Further, he rationalized that birth was a good thing, if done correctly, in contributing to ego strength. And he rationalized that the true self could be helped by the false self. People who want to “make nice” like this in the midst of contrasting theories and views are often highly regarded. In his defense, he could only be the product of his times; indeed, in the ways mentioned above, for example, the true and false selves and his views on therapy, he challenged some prevailing notions.

Risking It All At any rate, the ensuing plot in Joe Versus the Volcano has provocative elements containing cornucopias of meaning. It shows Joe having to decide whether to sacrifice his newly won relationship with his anima ally — that is to say, the heroine, Patricia — for the benefit of an entire — but anonymous — community. This demonstrates that at a progressed level of the spiritual process — that having to do with one’s inter-connection with the larger community of living things, not just one’s personal unconscious — one must risk even one’s newly regained creativity, inner child playfulness, and personal feelings, that is to say, one’s anima. One might even lose one’s confidence, doubt oneself, question oneself, lose one’s self-esteem ... all one’s good “therapy” is threatened ... all the gains one made at earlier, egoic levels, where one gained pride and self-confidence are put at risk. All that one thought one gained in becoming the adult one is might be lost. The better, more integrated Ego, proud even of its gains of self as in incorporating the anima, is more than at risk; it must be let go of. No, in this greater task one will risk suffering again ... and on a deeper level and in a more profound way ... but there is the very real promise that it will at least be more meaningful and more transformative. While it is clear he’s speaking from his own heart, Ed seems to be channeling the cumulative observations and feelings of the unimaginable number of living and dead of all species ever to live on this planet, especially those that observed us. In this message, they bring not just a wake-up call, a warning, and understanding of ourselves that goes beyond what we know. They bring also the way back, to sanity, to safety, in that they tell us not only how we’ve gone wrong, but also how we once had gone right and could once again. You Ain’t Born Typical The planetmates show us where we foolishly rebelled against a beneficent Universe, or God; and chose instead to go it alone, to reject the gift of the “given way” of happiness. We did such a stupid thing being fooled by our hubris, which actually arose out of a kind of inferiority complex we carried from birth, being only half-borns compared to all other species.

1. CREATING WORLDS Page 5 …particular set of stimuli is “objectively” neutral until “interpreted” by an organism relative to its physiological makeup, its species. This, of course, makes perfect sense. There is nothing inherently painful in a stimulus that is produced by something whose molecules are moving at such a speed and manner that one would measure its temperature at, say, two hundred degrees Fahrenheit. That degree of heat is not “objectively” painful. It would be painful to us, to humans, however. Yet, one could easily imagine a species for which that particular vibrational rate would be within its tolerance range. The quality of pain ... the very existence of pain, even ... is relative to the perceiving organism, its species. It is determined by the species physiology, and in humans this determination is made for us during the journey of the neural firing through interior areas of the brain, far out of our conscious awareness. Let us take a more subtle example. There is nothing inherently comforting or even pleasurable in a caress — that is, the pattern of stimuli involving the moving of one particular organism’s surface against another’s, in a particular way. Those “particulars,” along with other aspects, are what go into defining caress by means of a complex communication among billions of neural cells and their components inside the brain.

DANCE OF THE SEVEN VEILS II Page xxvi …unable to do anything about it. No exit. One might liken it to a tea pot or pressure cooker, stopped up and not allowed to vent. Then, because of the inefficiency of the blood flow in bringing nutrients to the fetus, which includes, most importantly of all, oxygen; it is characterized by feelings of suffocation along with the cramped feelings. Next, because the reduced blood flow means the toxic byproducts of food conversion will not be removed as efficiently, we routinely experience feelings of being force-fed toxins, waste matter, and “poisons.” This is accompanied by feelings of nausea, sickness, and — because it seems to come from all around and yet from nowhere in particular — paranoia, the sense of a dire threat which can come from anywhere at any time and is directed in particular at oneself. Finally, also consequent to this buildup of toxins in the amniotic surround is a feeling of burning or irritation on the surface of the skin. These feelings are the basis of the human evil of all times, and I call them the prenatal matrices of human evil, or the PMEs. Comprising, as they do, the greatest amount of the trauma and pain of our early lives, they are pretty much congruent with what I call the pain grids.

My suspicion: draught measured from the lowest point of the keel, hull light. No boiler water, no fuel, no cargo. At least that's how it looks when comparing the drawings with the real waterline afloat.
DWL reported to be 90cm (~3 feet). It would leave the top of the prop and part of the rudder above water, on a tug boat. Does not sound right, something is off.

Poisoned-Disgusted, PME 3 Every time people say, “Don’t give (feed) me that bullshit!”, they are expressing the next, this third, prenatal matrix. I have termed this the prenatal matrix of evil 3, PME 3, for short. What is involved in this is the factor of the blood flow, constricted and reduced by the compression of the mother’s arteries feeding the placenta, becoming impure for lack of efficient removal of the byproducts of food conversion. It is characterized by feelings of sickening, nausea, disgust, infection, imposition and verbal or indirect attack (paranoia), and victimization. The world is no longer felt as pure. And everywhere in cultures — from evangelical Christians preaching on the downfall into sin of contemporary society, or primitives engaging in regular and intense rituals of cleansing of “pollutions” that are felt to have “built up” in the tribe, to spiritualists and yogis engaging in all manners of complicated, often painfully meticulous, and often excruci- 5. It seems to be becoming a writer/director’s fad, as increasingly creative ways are being imagined to play it out in scripts. Told You I Didn’t Like Vegetables! Another common variation is when the suffocating item comes out of the person’s mouth. In this frequent scenario, the victim is “infected” with some kind of alien spore which grows inside of him or her and comes thrusting up from inside of the person’s body and out of the mouth, lodging itself there. Often this alien extrusion looks something like a huge asparagus emerging. The perverse sexual aspect of the image also has roots in perinatal, specifically, BPM III experience. However, if that does not happen, or to the extent that does not happen, this time in our lives creates in our deepest memories a knowledge of a state of “heaven.” It is harmony, peace, bliss, unity with the mother. My own research has added that it is a time when we retain a connection with Divinity or a higher reality than what we will know ever afterward.1 Which goes to explain the fact we have awareness of our past lives at this time. Furthermore, my own experience, added to research of other prenatal researchers — Frank Lake,2 in particular — reveals there are specific milestones related to this state. For example, the time of connection with the uterine wall, as a blastosphere, a bundle of cells, is a particularly euphoric time. The period of growth in general — from zygote through the embryonic state — is likely to be experienced as a bedrock of innate competence, confidence, and mastery. We participate in the bodies we are growing at that time. If not through actually willing their development and the proliferation of cells, then more like through our immersion in the biological processes… 46. HEAVEN Page 13

An Experiential Metaphysical — Experience Is Divinity and Funny God Subsequent to these discoveries and their eventual postulations as theories, frameworks for understanding, and paradigms, came a further elaboration that involved a description of Reality as essentially Experience, with matter being metaphor for true existence — which was coincident with the findings of quantum physics and Idealistic and panentheistic perspectives of all times. This I did in Experience Is Divinity: Matter As Metaphor (2013). In it, I addressed the metaphysical basis of reality. As I put it, the data from consciousness research calls for an existential metaphysical, one that takes as the basic unit of Reality to be one’s immediate Experience in any moment, with all its components of experience — cognitive, emotional, sensations, feelings, and experiences even subtler, for which there might as yet be no words. I also put forth an understanding of spiritual or metaphysical reality and the corresponding life program and goals that come from it in Funny God: The Tao of Funny God and the Mind’s True Liberation (2015). Additionally, I introduced the notion of the No-Form State — as being the state outside of all falls from grace, both prior to Form ... that is, before the creation of sperm and egg ... and after Form, which is to say, after death. Based on empirical data of several kinds, I speculated that such a… PROLOGUE: PRIMAL PSYCHOLOGY, FARTHER REACHES OF EXPERIENCE Page 40

Just as fresh to the field, it adds to that discipline by exploring the influences from our time of “prenatal hell,” during late gestation. That is something never really dealt with before and only written about by one other.3 So it is that this book has to do with the time after birth — the newborn and infancy periods — yet it extends back to the time before birth, the prenatal. However, the prenatal is divided into two separate Veils, which could not be more contrasting. There is the time of blissful existence during the first two trimesters of gestation. This is the basis of much of what I call the joy grids — which is the substratum of each human’s personality having to do with what gives them pleasure, joy, fulfillment, ecstasy, and bliss. It is our deepest self in this lifetime, and it is interconnected with the Divine. From which we had only a little time earlier separated, keep in mind. It also expands on what happens, generally speaking, during the third trimester, when the fetus’s larger mass, in conjunction with the bipedal stance of humans, results in constriction of the blood vessels going to the prenate. The extreme compression experienced by the unborn baby at this time already causes pressure from all sides on the body and increasingly more difficulty in movement. This crowdedness in the womb brings forth claustrophobic-like feelings in the prenate of wanting to explode yet being… PREFACE. A DANCE OF THE SEVEN VEILS Page xxv

Womb (dome) has become more like birth canal or cesarean opening. And from that opening above him, rappelling on ropes, descend the cavalry. On a related note, the rescuers descending on ropes ... relief via ropes or cords ... is symbolic of the neonate’s wishes for life-saving oxygen to be coming more abundantly through the umbilical cord. As we will see, being trapped and feeling tortured and suffocated because of a reduced flow of oxygen-carrying blood through the umbilical cord is a near universal human experience and is a major aspect of human’s uniquely-configured prenatal and birth experiences, out of which the singular human personality and human worldview emanate.3 At any rate, being in the dome is symbolic of the stage in the birth process before birth when one is in the womb; it is termed by Grof, Basic Perinatal Matrix I or BPM I. Whereas this time in one’s life can be blissful and contented and was more likely to be that way for people, historically, it can also contain elements of torture and poisoning.4 Sadly, it is more likely to have those negative elements — FUNNY GOD Page 80

This is biological relativity, and what it adds to our understanding when seen as analogous to the other relativities is that it tells us: a) Our realities can only be understood within the context of our species ... other species could not understand them ... and we cannot really understand the realities of other species ... lower or higher, if in fact there are such categories for species in Ultimate Reality. In some way, large or small, species will misunderstand each other. It means one acts righteously and dharmically with no thought of reward ... indeed, with no concern about the consequences. Again, it is the mode of action not the ends that is important. The ends do not justify the means; the means justify themselves, and the ends are irrelevant: They will take care of themselves. And if one acts with true and pure intention, the ends will be better than they would have been otherwise, that is, if one had tried to control them. Indeed, attempting to control the end results of things that are actually out of one’s control does not only cause one to stray from right action in attempting them, but it screws up the ends — they do not turn out the way one wishes. In the face of futility, desperation can only make things worse. History has shown us that, at least. Secondary Altriciality and the Origins of Culture The other part of prematurity is the helplessness after birth and the extra dependency of the baby on maternal care for survival and growth. The additional time of helplessness that humans have is termed secondary altriciality. With prematurity came secondary altriciality. And with second- ary altriciality came culture. Let me explain. Sociability The intensive care required of newborns created an exceptionally important time of one-on-one engagement of the infant with its caregivers, usually its mother. Right at the start, we are forced into socializing, however we can. We need to communicate in any way possible to get our needs met. And we are helpless to any ministrations that our caregivers might put upon us. We become more social than our relatives in Nature. By that I mean the increased dependence required of human infants resulted in much greater maternal care and interaction between mother and infant. Thus the need to communicate and nurture led to cooing, led to motherese — which is the baby talk and cooing that mothers adopt naturally and for humans universally, as the way to talk to its baby. PROLOGUE: PRIMAL PSYCHOLOGY, FARTHER REACHES OF EXPERIENCE Page 40 Thus, the purpose of life was to experience what one would as ego — as seemingly imperfect, muddled, and often out and out seemingly wrong, as that necessarily would be — in order to, by pain and unhappiness, be prodded into a path of return, spiritual return, primal spiritual return, back to Divinity, wholeness, and Grace. You’re born, you become less, you create an ego, separate from the All, you have experiences. These experiences enrich you, though they seem to be mistakes at the time. You seek your own destruction through them, as well, so that in this lifetime or many, you return to the All.

PART TWO: CULTURE WAR — GENERATIONS Page 94 That perception of alienation, dismal existentialism, and the futility of personal connection was happening earlier, also, with the beatniks, along with the marijuana use of the Fifties. What follows from this perception is the conclusion that people are basically “phony,” or “plastic;” that life is unreal. One perceives that ordinary motivations in pursuit of normal social values such as achievement, status/popularity, and pleasing appearance are meaningless rituals — games — that are totally irrelevant to the true nature of one’s being or reality. And one can see oneself as being trapped in this prison of unconscious scripts, with no chance of release or true perception of reality. The “Beats” — “Phony Baloney,” So, “YOU do it!” The “Beat Generation” of the Fifties — especially those referred to as “beatniks” — used marijuana and caffeine, predominantly. Their culture included the rise of existential belief, the glorification and…
