That's great except Youtube is reaping the benefits while actively sabotaging Indie Animation studios and creatives. They've incorrectly label animations for the wrong category, demonetize channels, or cause other issues that hinder channel growth.

Youtube is particularly bad here because of how the algorithm prioritizes monetized content and TOS or copyright strikes can demonetize you so the creators go absolutely feral over it
