#Dinopedia
Mondays? Yes, please - it's the #DinosaurOfTheWeek day after all!

And today's DotW is... Agujaceratops!

Just look at those impressive brow horns! These strong, long-frilled ceratopsians are an invaluable help in warehouses, libraries or guard outposts alike!

Ready for another #DinosaurOfTheWeek? Oh, I bet you are!

Today's DotW is... Dromaeosaurus!

Their sickle claws and sharp teeth might intimidate most folks, but in most cases these theropods are more interested in education and documentation, rather than living a predatory life!

What I got for Father's day @tetzoo.bsky.social (I also got a mini dremel clone and a box of what are sometimes called 'wifebeaters (sleeveless shirts), but this one was my favourite 🙂:

One of my contentions (I made it in The Great Dinosaur Discoveries and #Dinopedia) is that those of us who saw dinosaur science develop during the 1980s and 90s lived during an especially exciting time when lots of predictions were confirmed by incredible fossils. I still find this fascinating.

I only have one book which I have never really had the chance to read but I follow several people who are very into dinosaurs in all of their glory so I shared with the hope one of them will respond. Otherwise its Dinopedia: A Brief Compendium of Dinosaur Lore by Darren Naish ;)

Considering the absurd quantity of artwork Tim produced for the Dinopedia, I wouldn’t be surprised if he worked through every colour combo imaginable just to keep things fresh!

The Jurassic Park Institute returns, this time with lots of sauropods!
Vintage Dinosaur Art: Jurassic Park Institute – Part 2
Last time, we took a look at some of the many theropods illustrated by Tim Bradley for the now-defunct Jurassic Park Institute Dinopedia. Let’s check out a few more of those before moving on …

Yesterday we went to the "Dinosaurs of Patagonia" exhibition in Caixa forum, here in Seville, and its great to see that general public is now receiving a broader prospective of non-avian dino´s diversity. Used an opportunity and bought @tetzoo.bsky.social "Dinopedia" as a hardcopy #paleontology 🦖⚒️

Ok, so they have #Dinopedia and #AncientSeaReptiles on sale but Dinosaurs: How They Lived and Evolved is sold out, no sign of the 10th anniversary edition YET

Wow, this is quite the accolade, I'm hugely honoured and pleased you like the illustrations. With your permission, I'd like to use them (with credit) elsewhere if that's ok. And thanks for buying the book :)

A final batch of sketches based on the adorable illustrations in "Dinopedia." Isn't that just the cutest Spinosaurus? (3/3)

More studies of some favorite Naish dinosaur art from "Dinopedia." This one's a two-page spread. (2/3)

I finally read @tetzoo.bsky.social 's "Dinopedia." The content is mostly an overview of dinosaur groups, but the book is a rare treasure trove of adorable Naish dino-illustrations. Here are some of my favorites... (1/3)

It’s genuinely impressive just how many dinosaurs he illustrated for the Dinopedia. He did over 400 illustrations over the course of the JP Institute contract!

Dinopedia...😍
Good old time !

The JPI Dinopedia is actually the reason I have this username. Seeing Tim Bradley's Diplotomodon on the website was the first time I learned that New Jersey had more dinosaurs than just Hadrosaurus & Dryptosaurus

JPI was a *huge* part of my childhood

I would beg my parents' permission to log on and print out entries from the "Dinopedia," which I put into a big binder — and then I'd reorganize the genera on a semi-weekly basis according to different phylogenies I saw in library books.
