It's just endlessly hard to break through in .NET. Marten has been on DotNetRocks multiple times, Hanselminutes in the early days, DotNetConf, JetBrains live cast, and I've done every possible thing I could think of to promote it. And it's still pretty unknown in the larger .NET community.
