Dram 4 was from Dramfool and is the 4 year old Red Bag (Ardbeg) fully matured in a red wine barrique. It comes in at a punchy 61.2% ABV and cost £85 #BlindDrams

The Dramfool Glenmarvellous 4 was entirely Bourbon matured as well if I am not mistaken. It’s in my drinking pile, but well at the back.

What should I line the new Octomore single cask 11yo up with at the weekend? These 2 Dramfool Octomores seem obvious candidates. Could do the 15 10 aged years, 2016 10yo or Event Horizon, but they have wine/sherry finishes.

‘Cause it’s a bit of peat symphony, that’s life. This new one isn’t as sweet or fruity as the Dramfool bottlings but I’m not upset. It’s still right on target for me. Burnt BBQ ribs that fell into the embers. That said the price reflects rarity not quality.

At our tailgate we had a rhubarb gin from Canes sponsor Weldon Mills, a 32-year North British, and one of the Dramfool “Red Bag” bottlings that definitely is t really from an island my distillery that starts with “Ar” and ends with “dbeg.”

It’s whisky night. Cracking open the new Jim McEwan Port Charlotte from Dramfool for the first time. Just the whiff from the bottle as I poured is heavenly.

I'm going to celebrate #SmallBusinessSaturday by doing a whisky tasting with a small independent bottler of scotch named Dramfool. 😀

I have never had anything they've bottled that hasn't been at least decent and interesting, and most of their stuff is *fantastically* way better than "decent."

Just finished a sherry cask whisky tasing with Dramfool and holy crap, I have not been feeling it this hard in a LONG time. Everything at least 50% ABV and most quite a bit north of that.

Some drams that literally will never be seen again, and plenty of hard-to-find stuff.
