If you’ve ever knocked on doors, you will find voters are dumdums 🤷🏾♂️
Maybe it's uncouth to say this out loud, but if you've ever spent time with "regular voters", you know that most people have heterodox, contradictory, and largely incomprehensible political beliefs. It is maddening and why I could never work in electoral politics.
ngl it seems like voters only understand "I'm happy with the way things are going" -> vote for incumbents and "I'M MAD!!!" -> vote for whatever party has the most anti-status quo vibes, and social media + residual covid stuff has pushed voters to feel the later

This was an utterly depressing read, showcasing that pretty much no Dem faction has any FP ideas besides America First plus. The only one defending rules based international order passionately is Ro Khanna of all people, and he then turns around and still wants to cut the DoD budget.
