I scan with a Valoi Easy35 and the sony a7iv I've had forever. After that I drop the raws into Lightroom Classic and convert them with Negative Lab Pro, and then off to any tweaks I want to make. I extremely enjoy the entire process.

Alternatively if you don't mind an abomination you can get a Nikon 55mm f2.8 macro (Ai or Ai-S) for like $120 and a F mount to X mount adapter for $65 and use that with the easy35

The single best investment I made in film photography was the valoi 360 system (backed it in the kickstarter), can rattle through a roll in maybe two minutes. The dust brush (think the easy35 has that option too) is a lifesaver

I've been developing and scanning myself from the jump. I've been using the ago film processor and valoi easy35 with good results. In October, surprised my wife with a short getaway to Lisbon, Seville & Madrid. Shot the MP 95% of the time.

@flakphoto.news and @bertrom.bsky.social are you familiar with this scanning rig? Just arrived from Finland. I use old footage (film and video) in some my work, more recently one of my sisters found our father's negatives. We grew up with his makeshift darkroom.
