I forgot to link this as part of the Dune thread from earlier: my overall piece of favourite music from the game.
It's one unique to the Commodore Amiga version, and is one of only a few tracks in the game. Much smaller OST than the DOS version. But Ecolove does a lot of heavy lifting.

It's so weird to hear 'Ecolove' from the Amiga version of Cryo's Dune game as the default background music of another game, but here we are with a MOD version of it in shareware classic Exile II: Crystal Souls (Mac version).
It does fit nicely with the tempo of the dungeon crawling.

Four games with 10/10 soundtracks
(XCOM 2 has a great soundtrack, but the Tactical Legacy Pack's OST is outstanding. And I'd combine both the DOS Dune soundtrack and the Amiga version's Ecolove into one 10/10 OST)

DOS PC Dune is one of the 256 VGA games I still think looks absolutely gorgeous. The 32-colour Amiga version (right) makes a very good account of itself tho with less nuanced shades. It does have one ace up its sleeve tho - Ecolove. It's one of my favourite pieces of game music.

Yeah! Very much so. The Amiga version that I first played also features one of my favourite pieces of game music: Ecolove. Beautiful in its own way too.
