Eh, much as I'd like to read yet more tripe about how *Democrats* are the ones with terrible economic policies, I just can't go on past "Nobel-Winning Economist." There isn't a Nobel Prize for Economics, there's only "The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel." 🙃

Sometimes you dodge many bullets only to run into other bullets. AES is an extremely talented politician. His defense of religious freedom in the “Tommy” confrontation was fantastic. His danger zone is a reluctance to show grace to opponents.
Mark Carney says he doesn’t use generative AI as much as he’d like, but that he’s brought in a Google executive to “transform government” and enable more AI use.
Basically, the answer of someone completely bought in on the fantasy of AI who refuses to recognize that isn’t reflected in reality.

Gewohnt sympathisch und überzeugend reagiert Weidel im aktuellen Economist-Interview auf die Feststellung, dass es in ihrer Partei klar erkennbare Neonazi-Elemente gibt. 🙃 #AfD#NoAfD

“I've never really worried too much about the headroom. It is an imaginary thing. The only reason it's become important is because Rachel Reeves made such a fuss of it. We don't even know what crises are in the future. Most will likely require hugely more than the headroom. So, frankly, who cares?”

OMG it felt so good to hear an expert economist say this.
