This is wrong. Period. Daniel Biss is the grandchild of Holocaust survivors, his mother is Israeli, and he has spoken out loudly and clearly against antisemitism. His colleagues will look to him for leadership on Jewish issues and for help building alliances to combat anti-Jewish hatred.

Unless I'm confused about their reference, ADL weren't asking to *protect* an encampment. They were asking Biss to use force to destroy a pro-Gaza demonstration because they didn't like their speech. Which he declined to do.
