Thyroid nodules affect up to 70% of adults. A new review covers ultrasound-guided thermoablation (laser, RFA, MWA, HIFU): 50–90% volume reduction, no general anesthesia, rare complications. A promising complement to surgery for selected benign nodules and mPTC.
