Today being #Caturday, and Eric being the proud Cat of a Cartoonist, I felt a desire to, Librocubicubularistically, read some W. Heath Robinson.

A wonderfully whimsical, eccentric and hilarious Cartoonist. A balm in this world of Trumpian Vulgarity.

Today being #Caturday, and Eric being a Cartoonist's Cat, he is enjoying some Absurdism supplied by the recently departed, Glen Baxter.

Rest in well deserved peace Mr. Baxter.

am very sorry, but I am not available to entertain at present. It is the weekend and being the Cat of a Cartoonist comes with responsibilities that I am unable to neglect"

The BBC, auntie of the nation, may be ignoring the fact that the Goon Show is 75 years old this very week, but Eric, being the Cat of a Cartoonist, refuses to see this milestone go uncelebrated...

Sunday mornings are for Librocubicubularism.

I am currently reading Bill Schelly's biography of Harvey Kurtzman.

I am, of course, joined by Eric the cartoonist's cat and a #WeirdNotWonderful creature.

Eric, being the Cat of a Cartoonist, begins his weekend by enjoying some Osbert Lancaster.

He's looking at the picture Sir Osbert drew of himself cartooning. And he's wondering, "why isn't my Cartoonist this sartorially elegant?"

Got my paper, got my pens, got my Book, How to Draw Ponies, by Norman Thelwell and I am joined by Eric, the Cat of a Cartoonist.

I'm all set for a cartooning #WhimsicalWednesday.

Eric is the proud Cat of a Cartoonist, and it is a role that he performs with the appropriate amount of solemnity and gravitas.

In fact it wouldn't be unusual to find him spending a morning engrossed in some illustrations of Mr William Heath Robinson.

As I have said, on many an occasion, Eric is a Cartoonists Cat, and, it is a role he indulges in, with much seriousness.

In fact many an evening he can be found reading Herge's gentle Comedic masterpiece, Tintin.
