This postbox may look like a regular postbox... But a second glance will inform you that it is opposite a Pamela Scott's, so some sartorially elegant people must. Have used it.
So put on some of your finest clobber this #PostboxSaturday, and post a letter.

And, I suppose, the bountiful botanical beauty of Nature.

As is nature's way, it is taking its sweet time providing the correct colour palette, traditional for #FlowerPowerFriday, where I mix some #WeirdNotWonderful #EnglishAbsurdity, with some floral beauty.
But I still have some 2025 pics, that I didn't use.

Haven't been to a Cricket match since before COVID.
But recently Tullamore acquired a Cricket Club, so over the weekend took a couple of chairs, a few cans of Iron Bru and enjoyed an afternoon of Cricket.
Most pleasant.

I do so love meeting new acquaintances upon my perambulations.
Especially those who I know would never say, "Cartooning? Is that an appropriate pastime befitting a man of your advancing years?"
Like these two whimsical chaps.

How pleasant to know Mr. Lear.
Whose nonsense in words and pictures is the forerunner to my art.
Edward Lear's birthday provided us with National Limerick Day, and his Birthday would be today.
A legacy worth celebrating
