Undoubtedly, vast majority we spoke to at our street stall in Leeds city centre today want better relations with our European allies. Strong support too for an EU youth mobility scheme & rejoining the #Erasmus+ work-study programme from those filling in our EuroMonitor survey (pictured below).

Busy today on our #Leeds city centre street stall. EuroMonitor (Brexitometer) shows huge support for #RejoinEU and #SingleMarket.

Little faith in future of #Farage, but unanimous support for RNLI.

Voters want the Government to go much further in rebuilding our EU trading links than it's currently committed to, says Chair @leedsblue67.bsky.social in a @yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk letter. That's amongst the findings of @bestforbritain.bsky.social & our street stall EuroMonitor (Brexitometer).
This letter from Peter Packham, Chair of Leeds for Europe, appeared in the Yorkshire Evening Post on 16 April 2025. Mr Packham notes that a supposed "Brexit benefit" created by tariffs introduced by US President Donald Trump was untrue - and quickly disappeared, anyway.
