I'm afraid we're going to have to disagree. Making a (low exergy) fuel out of (pure exergy) electricity is a thermodynamic black hole. Far better to put our resources into eliminating the need for fuel wherever possible, and using biogas/biofuels wherever not.

Repeated conversions tend to waste more of the eXergy, eg converting gas to LNG to gas to electricity to heatpump will destroy exergy (= ability to provide Energy Services) at every step, even though 1st Law says that eNergy is conserved throughout.

1 kWh of gas is more useful than 1 kWh of room heat., it can provide ~12x more services
