Finally had time to play a game of Star Trek on the #F256K by the industrious Ernesto, who's a maestro at making fully completed superbasic programs. He even put out a manual for it!

After a solid fight, I did it! MP3 playback with my C source code running on a 8bit 6502 machine with 512kb of RAM, the #F256K2 which has a VS1053b chip. I don't do this for a living so I'll call it an achievement for me!

My Game Jam entry is done, programmed in C, meant for #F256K, K2, Jr. or Jr.2 from #Foenix Retro Systems. Supports simple PSG sound for the older machines, but MIDI for the newer as well.
I will port this to 68k macs in time!

Trying to organize my modern retro systems. From left to right - the #mega65, #zxspectrum Next, Foenix F256K and Amiga 1200.

Still have to find places for the Commander X16 and a few others. Maybe clean off the top shelf! I wish I had a huge room that I could keep them all hooked up at once.

Outdated but all the main elements are present
Computer desk space with an old Mac plus, a f256k, a modern PC, a vintage 486 PC. Floating shelves with big box pc Games. A Bench area with various tools for soldering and wire stripping.
