At the AFN SCA 2024, Liberal Prime Minister @justintrudeaupm.bsky.social takes the stage with Ministers Hajdu, Anandsangaree, Virani and Vandal. He intends to give a short statement and, principally, to take questions. Somewhat different approach, maybe foolhardy, maybe brave. #cdnpoli #fnpoli

Bills 14 & 15 "echoes the “postage stamp” approach to Aboriginal title that was roundly rejected by the Supreme Court of Canada and has been rejected by First Nations from the outset." #bcpoli #FNpoli #bill15
Dear Premier Eby:

We have found your statements about the requirement for consent and compliance with the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (“UN Declaration”) to be unclear, confusing, and arguably misleading.

Not for nothing, but would it not make sense for First Nations and indigenous organizations to raid the lists of laid-off federal scientists, administrators and managers? We rely so heavily on federal resources, getting direct help from former employees seems to be logical. #cdnpoli #bcpoli #fnpoli
