Bethesda owns Fallout now.
Remnants of Interplay became inXile Entertainment, and made Wasteland 2 and 3.
Now Xbox owns Bethesda and inXile.
We've come full circle. Just recreate Interplay and Black Isle Studios at this point. 😔

the resolution was so low in the FO1 cutscene I missed this
The more I think about it, if I ever attempted a large Kickstarter it wouldn’t be for a game but a game tool. I really want a decent RPGmaker style engine for isometric cRPGs to exist (eg BG2, ToEE, FO1/2)

fallout 3 got more people to play Fo1/2 than those games did when they originally released and by extension helped revive the isometric RPG genre

Man, Doom mods go deep, they were able to grab Doom and strip it off its boomer shooter qualities to turn it into a tactical survival shooter and it just works.
