i disagree with this whole heartedly because one of them has a crefully designed gameplay loop with a lot of intentionality behind core mechanics and the other is running in the fo3 engine
fallout new vegas and pathologic are basically the same game
-ugly washed-out color palette
-90% of the game is walking
-survival mechanics that will kill you
-janky as hell
-so, so much dialogue
-beloved by trans women

It's not like either of them, uh, exist right now. Getting an FO3-size game every 3 years for both of those would be fine

The best of these segments (by Bethesda standards) is "Take it Back!" in FO3. But in an irony, it's primarily because of the one really large ally being such an effective showpiece.

fo3 was my first M rated game, i had played halo 2 at my cousins and the spongebob game religiously every time we went there and then yeah basically fo3 was what sent me into rpg world

The time between Fallout 3 and 4 was seven years but there was New Vegas in between that reused a lot from FO3 but still was a full on Fallout game

I mean, which Fallout? Fallout 1 and 2 are classics and New Vegas is arguably better than any Elder Scrolls game, but FO3 and FO4 are not the strongest - without settlements, FO4 would be pretty disappointing.
By contrast, Morrowind and Skyrim are both all-time greats.

No offense to fans of the Elder Scrolls, but Fallout is a better game and it has one of the best new series on television and this would be a smart time to come out with FO 5
Fallout 4 came out in 2015 so the wait still isn't as long.
