The one key component of this presidency is that the richest folks, and most deranged right wing loons, are acting like this is truly their last stand. They aren't just cashing in and taking everything they can because they're greedy, insane, and generally just shitty people. They're doing it because they feel like they will never get another chance. The second the Trump presidency ends - regardless of if it's via election, removal, health, or some horrifying imperial nonsense - things are going to go subterranean. They're breaking things we as a collective are not prepared or capable of fixing. Markets collapsing, economic crashes, the American experiment dying at the vine. It's being propped up by billionaires now because when Donny is gone, they'll do what they always do - they'll stop propping up the shitty behavior and thievery, and when things go to shit, they'll blame the new person who isn't kowtowing to their every whim and letting them get away with murder and then some. The only hope is that the American public has finally seen enough from what's happened during the last 12 years to know that going back to these motherfuckers again is going to be the final death knell. To know these obscenely wealthy fools are driving the bus off a cliff. I so severely doubt it, but at this point I have no clue how there couldn't at least be an inkling with even the most loyal dummies that this has gone off the fucking rails.
