FINALLY drew something again!! i find that sloppy full-body drawings might be more fun for me these days! #originalcharacters #fantasyocs #fullbodysketches #coloredsketches #digitalpencil #clipstudiopaint

Three side-by-side full-body colored sketches of characters: the character on the left has a staff and is gasping at a glowing magical orb in her hand; the character in the middle has his hair up in a bun and is looking sleepy in a green robe; the character on the right is smiling and waving at the viewer

Devere is watching Knell leave (but we only see him from the back). She has run past the open cemetery gate and is now on a dirt road that splits into three different paths. She seems to be heading down the path on the right. A village full of wooden cabins, some with smoke coming out of their chimneys, lies further beyond. You can also see someone has hung out their laundry to dry on a line.

Devere continues to observe Knell's departure with uncertainty.

When she is out of sight, he turns around...

...and leads his unicorn, Bill, back into the cemetery.
Devere: Weird kid.

In a series of small panels, the scene fades out in a hazy blur.

A dark fantasy webcomic about a necromancer adopting a troubled child.

Panel 1- Devere holds Knell after catching her (she jumped off the back of a very large unicorn).
Knell: "What-"
Devere: "Don't jump off like that! You tryin' to break your legs?!"

Panel 2- Knell looks surprised, but smiles slightly.
Knell: "....I'm sorry?"

Panel 3- Devere rolls his eyes and sighs.

Panel 4- Devere sets Knell on the ground.
Devere: "God's sake..."

Page 5- Devere hands Knell a small bag that was tied to his unicorn's saddle.
Devere: "Here, these are your clothes. I dried 'em by the fire but they're still a mess."

Panel 6- Devere turns away. Knell now holds the bag and looks to the side with uncertainty.
Devere: "Head on home then, and don't meander."
